How does bikeparkade.com work?

Bikeparkade.com is a social-networking referral site. We bring together eco-friendly cyclists who want to ride their bicycles to work and vendors who have parking spaces for those cyclist.

How can I rent my spot?

Only registered users of bikeparkade.com can advertise their locations (parking spaces). Once you have registered, you can list parking spots based on its locations (Country/State/City/Region). You can also provide additional information (such as amenities available and pictures) within the listing to give the cyclists a better idea if there is a possible match.

We are constantly working with industry suppliers to provide the best prices for the latest products in bicycle security. Feel free to contact bikeparkade sales for any products that you are unable to source from your suppliers.

Why are some parking locations more requested than others?

Parking locations near workplaces are generally more sought after. Amenities such as showers and lockers are important to cyclists who commute. Locations that are close to transit are often requested by cyclists who do not wish to commute long distances, but would consider commuting to a transit location on their bikes.

How do I search for a spot for my bicycle?

Simple. Navigate to the Country/State/City/Region that you are interested in.

How do I communicate with the vendors?

Once you have navigated to the parking location that you are interested in, click on the "Contact Vendor" button. This will lead you to a form that you can post a message to the vendor. Alternatively, many vendors are businesses that can be contacted via the telephone number in the listing.

How do I pay the vendors?

As a free referral service, bikeparkade.com does not participate in the transaction between you and the vendor. However, we will be offering value-added payment services in the near future (see below) to assist you with your transaction requirements.

Do you offer any payment services?

We will soon be offering a for-fee value added package whereby we manage your transactions with the vendor. More details will be posted as soon as they become available.

Do you offer any bicycle insurance services?

We realize that security of your bicycle is of great importance. This is one of the reasons that we created bikeparkade.com, so you do not need to lock your bike next to the nearest lamp post, only to discover that it is gone when you come back from work. We currently do not offer any insurance services. Depending on customer demand, we may offer this as part of the value added package. More details will be posted as soon as they become available.

How do I post a request for a spot?

If you do not see any parking locations that suit your needs, feel free to post a request within our bulletin board. You will need to be a registered user to have access to post messages to our bulleting board.

You do not offer any service to a Country/State/City/Region that I'm interested in.
